Notes: This watercolor piece captures a summer memory of a doe and her twin fawns who visited our driveway each evening, making their way to Puncheon Fork Creek for a drink. One of the shy but curious spotted fawns ventured down the drive to stand by the front porch, peeking into the dining room window—a moment of pure delight that inspired this painting. Materials:  This is an original mixed-media work created with watercolor paint and gel pens. The work was completed on 140# cold-press watercolor paper and sealed with a clear coat of moisture resistant, UV blocking, acrylic spray. Care has been taken to accurately photograph the work, though colors may vary slightly in different lights. Each painting is matted using a white, acid free mat and backing board. and is framed, as shown. The fame is composite wood and it contains plexiglass (easier/safer to ship). The frame is wired for hanging and includes a certificate of authenticity on the back.
